Ramblings: We're taking flight...

We're headed off tonight to see these quirky guys in concert:

I gave Jeremy tickets to their show back in February for Valentines Day, which seems like forever ago. Nothing says romance like 2 oddball New Zealanders singing lyrics like "You're the most beautiful girl in the whole wide room...And when you're on the street, depending on the street, I bet you are definitely in the top 3 good looking girls on the street, depending on the street... You're so beautiful you could be a part-time model, but you'd probably have to still keep your normal job...You're so beautiful, like a tree or a high class prostitute..."

Hopefully we'll laugh alot at their insane and hilarious songs and I'll forget the woes of last week. Woes including (but not limited to): MORE poop ground into the carpet using a toy tool set, markers all over the living room wall, a ton of wet potting soil thrown down the back staircase, and Alex continuing to get in trouble at school on a daily basis. And NO! I didn't take pictures of ANYTHING--because I've learned that as soon as the boys see the camera, they think that whatever naughty thing they did is funny and they shouldn't feel the need to run for their lives. And if I've lost the ability to scare them upon discovering that they've been hammering and screwdriving their own feces into the white carpet, then I've lost more than just my sanity.
