Ramblings: Turkey Ballerina

Maddie was given a naked turkey drawing and the assignment to come up with a disguise for him so he wouldn't get eaten on Thanksgiving. Maddie wanted to disguise hers as a ballerina, so with a little felt, tulle, false eyelashes, tiny pearls, and hemp string for a bun-hairdo we were set. Never a prettier fowl...

Do you think he/she'll get eaten?

Wow, that's really good for a Kindergartner...

Haha. It was a "family" project. And everyone knows that means mom gets to do it. She did the awesome coloring, cutting, and eyelashes. I even let her work the hot glue gun. I did enjoy making the bun though.

You should sell those online for all Kindergartn girls to turn in as their disguised turkeys projects. Little girls would LOVE them you could make a little extra money on the side. You could start your own business and make disguised Santas, Easter Bunnies, etc....Very cute! BTW Maddie, is such a beautiful little girl!

Tell Maddie we would never eat her turkey. I love little girls in that everything has to be pink and frilly! My girls would have wanted it just like that. And both girls laughed and loved the turkey.
