Secondly, this picture of the boys makes me laugh. Probably because I see those faces far too often.
I'd like to suggest a small contest. The idea being you have to leave a comment (did you HEAR THAT PEOPLE? You have to actually click on that button that says "What do you have to say for Yourself" and type something. It's easy. Everyone is doing it. You wanna be cool, right? Is that enough peer pressure? I don't even care if I don't know you. I promise--I don't scare easily. Unless of course you include some sort of violent physical threat or you've been featured on America's Most Wanted, any season of Rock of Love, or one of the Dateline: To Catch a Predator shows--then I scare fairly easily).
Where was I? Ok. Leave a comment with a suggested photo title, take a crack at what might have elicited this violent reaction, or you can even insert your own dialogue into their growling mouths. The winner will receive a mix CD of my favorite songs to listen to when I feel like they look in the picture--think of it as auditory antianxiety therapy.

"We should have gone to Six Flags."
"My ball!!!!!" is my first guess. But then again, there's Madddie right on top of Avery, so hmmm...not sure. Maybe it was about the arm floaties.
Two ideas: "This water is NOT warm, Mom!" or Aidan: Avery lost his ball and he's not getting mine!
"There will be revenge, it may not be for several years, but it will come."
Laura, let me know if you guys really do come here.
I'm going to say it's not about the ball because the other one is in the background. I'm guessing they are fighting over who gets to sit or look over that little area Avery has a death grip on.
There is no way we are going inside mom--never mind that we are sun burned, exhausted, and starving. YOU CAN'T MAKE US!
When I look at it, the only thing I see is Avery screaming "SHAAAAARK! SHAAAAAAARK! IT'S A SHAAARK!"
One large floating nugget is coming to mind. Probably because sometimes your half eaten nugget story pops in my head.
"I can't get away from it!!"
"Swim Man, SWIM!!"
Obviously, you are behind the camera and it is Jeremy who is causing their distressed reactions. I am suspicious of the apparent calm on Maddie's face, she is not scared or upset. So...that leads me to believe, if our past pool experiences are any indication, that Jeremy is under the water teasing them both by tugging on their trunks!! If not their trunks, then their toes! I am sure that Jere IS involved.
Ooohhhhh...Grandma is so smart. Have they reached the age of the underwater father teasing?
i think you just told the boys that it's time to go home and have cooked rat for dinner. ya know? the one u found in ur closet...yea..yum.
"Pool Time Torture!"
(in the loudest shriek imaginable)
"MOOOOOM, we don't want to get out!"
ps...your posts are hilarious!
DADDY BREAKS THE RULES would be the post title. 'Reaction of small children when Jeremy removes his swim trunks and moons them' would be the subtitle. (I spent too much time around Jeremy in college... maybe things have changed, but probably not.)
I'm going to go for the American Idol title since I think these boys take after their dad, and the boys just heard that David Archuleta will NOT be touring in Dallas this year. That would be the ONLY reason for those faces..for sure.
After yesterday I would bet that they are screaming for mom no matter what the reason may be. I think the headline should read, 'Faces only a mother could love.'
I'm going to guess that Maddie just threw up in the pool behind the twins and that is why they look so eager to get out. I figure that it must be something about poop, vomit or dead rodents.
